Long before earning the name “Voice of Atlanta Basketball”, Bria Janelle has proven that her hard work, talent and dedication show both on and off the court. As a native of Snellville, GA and high school graduate of Greater Atlanta Christian School, Bria was recognized as a 2007 McDonald’s All-American nominee, Emory Eastside Medical Player of The Month and a State Champion as her team won the Region 8AA Basketball State Championship in 2007.

After high school, Bria attended Mars Hill College for three years playing on the Women’s Basketball team. Off the court served as the Vice President of the Business Honors Club before transferring to Georgia Southern University.

Upon transferring to GSU, Bria became an On-Air Talent for the campus radio station 91.9 The Buzz WVGS. In 2011 Bria graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts & Science with a minor in Business Administration.

Bria credits her passion for Sports and Music as one of the many reasons she began hosting. “I fell in love with hosting because I love talking to large groups of people and using my creative whit to make sure people have a great time. I was always fascinated with the idea that I could pick up a mic and change the dynamic of an atmosphere.”

Acknowledged by the late Maya Angelou in 2008 for “Having a Voice That Can Change A Nation” this multi-faceted Multi-Media Personality took her movement to the next level.

After connecting with Jah Rawlings in 2012, Bria became the first female in the country to host an NBA sanctioned all male summer basketball league known as the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League (AEBL). The AEBL league consist of current and former NBA players, overseas players and some of the nation’s top NCAA Division I, II, and III basketball players.

In 2014 Bria successfully launched LoudGenius.com, a daily news source dedicated to the Sports and Entertainment culture. As her love for media and community grew, her non-profit Loud Genius Inc. was birthed in 2017.
